Thank you to everyone who attended the public meeting on Saturday. It was a fantastic turnout and we enjoyed meeting you, talking with you, and listening to (and understanding), your concerns.
It was also a good opportunity to put those concerns to the leader of Rushcliffe Borough Council, and Vistry. The quality of well-informed comments and questions from the floor was stunning, and it was interesting to see how RBC and Vistry reacted to such focussed examination.
It was such a shame officers from Rushcliffe, councillors from Nottinghamshire County Council, and representatives from Taylor-Wimpey, and Arc Partnerships all felt unable to attend.
The well-attended public meeting saw members of the public come from (amongst other places), Gamston, Tollerton, Keyworth, Radcliffe on Trent, West Bridgford, Bassingfield, Plumtree, Normanton on the Wolds, and Cotgrave.
Several people asked if the presentation would be made available so, in the interests of keeping the conversation alive, we have put the slides on this website, you can download them here. You can access them here (you don’t need special software to open them, we have transferred them into a simple pdf document).
Please share these slides with your family, your friends, and your neighbours. This quality of information needs to be widely distributed. The proposed development will impact everyone who lives in or passes through the local area for over a decade!
